To all you Jersey guys and gals, how will you handle your billing this month since starting July 15th sales tax goes to 7%. half your month is at 6% and the other half is at 7%.I still hand write my bills and fortunetly I usually bill out at the middle of the month, so it didnt effect my billing. For those of you who bill say the first of the month and use say quick books, is it possible to charge both rates? A friend of mine told me to ask the board, plus I'm curious as well.

Is that how your great Governor plans on making up all that lost revenue from closing down the casinos,it will come from the residents of course. We as a nation need to drag every politician to the oak tree for a good old fashioned hanging and start from scratch-just an opinion don't get excited.

the best part is i read they increased state spending by 9%. if we are in money trouble and u have to raise taxes wouldn't it be smart to cut spending???

The billing will be the easy part....I'm more concerned about how they (NJ Division of Taxation) are going to handle the online payment of quarterly taxes! This should be fun! :dizzy: hahaha

I wish we were "only" 7% for sales tax. Now were at 8.75%
