You ain't gonna be missing anything.

I'm thinking of trying some Husqvarna stuff. Dealer up here warranties all engines for LIFE. He cryogenically freezes the motors. All you have to do is lube properly and he stands behind them.

My father-in-law is a logger and switched back to Husky from Stihl. Lost one motor so far, and the guy put in a new one.

Locutus, try a Kawasaki if you have a dealer near by, or you can get one on E-bay for $220. Get the Ktr27A I've used all of the trimmers you mentioned and I would definately buy another Kawi. BTW it's 1.6 hp @ 7000 rpm. And it weighs 10.8 lbs.

    Get a Red Max!!!!
I just got a BCZ2600S and I love it!!! There is plenty of power and torque and it is built really well! Stihl products are pretty good too. I have a Stihl back-pack blower and chainsaw and they work great! :D

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I was really pissed when I started this thread and to a degree, still am.

Txlawnking, I'm going to look into that Kawasaki. Thats a lot of hp for the displacement and weight.
