You may have a problem called "lazy ignorant dealer employee". Symptoms include being told the manufacturer doesn't offer an item, especially when they are busy and don't feel like looking up a part number, filling out an order form, collecting a deposit, and calling you when it arrives. Aggravated when calling near closing time.
Toro dealer told me I couldn't get a mulch kit on a 32" fixed deck. I just bought an Exmark one at another dealer, since it's an Exmark deck on that mower. Perfect fit. I don't work for either company, yet I knew that. Why didn't he?
Yep, bruce, LOT's of the local dealer's here have that syndrome better Known in these parts as The DWDS's. Don't Wanna Do S@##. I do not under stand how these fools make a buck. Magic? Cuz That's about the only way they'd Get my money...
