    Sorry fellas

::Recently, Exmark announced the introduction of the Metro 26 rear bagging mower. To support the efforts of this innovative product Exmark has made available an exclusive brochure that positions and sells the many features and benefits of this new category of mower.

Since the creation of this piece it has been decided due to small demand for this option that we will not make a side-discharge option available at this time. The current Metro 26 literature incorrectly states that the Metro 26 “system design allows the operator to mulch, bag or side-discharge.”. In addition, the safety package specifications published incorrectly lists the unit as zone start.

Future printings will clearly promote that the Metro 26 comes standard as a rear-discharge bagger with optional mulching system available, and zone start reference will be removed.::

Thanks for the information. As far as the mulching system is concerned, will it simply be a plug that is available on the Metro 21 or will it be some other more complicated system? Also, how much extra will the mulch system be?

Wish I had that info for you. The latest price sheet update we got was actually leading to believe that it was coming capable of bagging and mulching. Now this makes it look like you gotta buy an add on piece for mulching.

The mulch plug goes in somewhat like the 21". I watched the mower at work during a filming session a couple of months ago. It was in lush St. Augustine grass and performed well as a bagger and a mulcher. It will really pack the bag full.

Thanks for the information everyone. In talking to a dealer this afternoon, it seems like the mulch plug comes standard along with the bag.
