I've heard the NOFA 5-day course in organic land care is amazing - and they're holding it in NY next month! It's Feb 17, 18, 19, 20 and 23 at Birch Hill in Schodack, about 15 minutes from Albany. It covers everything about organic land care, from soil health and compost tea to planting, mulching and running a business. For info: or call Kathy Litchfield, 413-773-3830 or

I'm going! If anyone else is going or has been to the course let me know!

I took the course about 5 yrs ago. well worth it. It's a lot of info packed into days you're head will spin.
The only problem I thought was the people running it think AL Gore is god if you know what I mean.
    But, take the class!!

With the clientele in Upper Bucks, I'd say taking the class is a great investment. Organics are hot there!!
