Notification & Paper Trail

    Help me think through the paperwork process: I create/print 2 copies of the notification/invoice for each customer, at each job I fill in the correct information and leave 1 at the door, make a duplicate & bring that back to the office, finalize the invoice changes in the computer & file the field copy. Is this how it's done? Is there a more efficient or cost effective way?
