NP on Potable?

    Any drawback putting a head made for non-potable on a potable system? It could only make it better, right?

    The cover color is the obvious difference, that I dont care.

    It won't be any better, only a different color. My understanding is that some NP valves have special/upgraded materials that last longer in NP water (Like the Rain Bird PESB-R) but that heads (Rotors and Sprays) just have the purple color.

    The only drawback would be that NP heads can cost more...

    In my area many spec jobs are designed with all NP parts even though at present the system they are on in potable...the thinking is the NP structure will be installed in the future.

    Right now I am living in Tubac, Pretty nice area but a little slow for my tastes.

    I would expect it to be a little slow there. What took you to that part of the state? Whats the market like there? You speaka spanish?
