O . D . C . Fabrication for walkbehind

    Bought this ole junker , {why I don't know} for 3 hundred , 12 hp Briggs . Made an O D C for it today .Real simple too make
    You need
    1/4 plate
    2 pipe nipples 3/8 inch
    1 1/4 inch swivel socket adapter
    3/8 rod
    1 cotter key
    2 set screws
    1 1/2 inch pipe nipple
    old broom handle
    paint
    Here you can see the swivel socket welded to the rod , on the other end is a 3/8pipe nipple welded on , the pipe nipple is drilled for cotter pin , connecting rod also drilled for cotter pin
    Also the 1/ 4 plate is welded to a 3/8 nipple , drilled and tapped for 2 set screws

    Here another pic
    Here you see a 1/2 inch pipe nipple welded to the handle bar
    Use and old broom handle . drilled and epoxyed for the lever

    What size mower is that? Does it cut alright?

    Been there...done that. Lot of Blowout w/ the chute closed. Prefer baffled Mulch Kit.

    Thats the one that you got from Eric. I thought you were last heard ranting and raving about how WONDERFUL it was! man, you realy cannot make up your mind.:rolleyes:

    I'm glad you pay such close attention to my posts little boy.

    I prefer the mulch kit when full time mulching is possible through the summer months. The OCDC serves it's purpose when discharging.

    Benfer , its an old Bunton 32 inch , I only need it for 2 jobs

    Ultimate , it will only be closed for a few seconds at a time
