The newest addition to our equipment. Power Trim brand walk behind edger with a 4 hp honda motor.
That is a nice edger.how have u guys been.i hear good things about the power trim edgers.
Yes, they are a very good product. The frame itself is very sturdy and the wheels and the spindle where the blade attaches are very smoothe. The 4 hp honda GXV commercial motor makes it an awesome machine. We have been very very busy. Our landscape and install jobs have slowed down dramatically. But our maintenance has really picked up. A lot of LCOs would probably ask, "so late in the season?" But here in Fresno, Ca. we stay busy year round as far as maintenance goes. We just picked up a contract with a realestate company that has given us 13 homes that are up for sale and will be giving us more. And we are preparing for the perennial rye seeding. So you can say we are staying busy. It's always a good thing, right?
Yeah thats good.real nice.thats is good, yeah thats what i heard from other guys alot of installs went down this year.yeah that is good.maintenance i think will always be busy.yeah sounds good.yeah it is.yeah im 15 and still a youngster with 10 lawns and cut them after school.in a few years will have more and get it into more gear.next year will be truck and trailer.so thats good.
Started laying out the perennial rye seed. I think this is the most rye seed we've done ever. Any of you do this?
Scalping the lawn at one of our commercial properties for the rye seed. We should start seeing the rye grass around early November and it should be fully grown by early December.
It looks good.
He looks a little big for that phazer haha and Why do you just put down perennial rye and not a blend of fescue ( it could be totally the norm where you are just here I don't know anyone just doing straight rye thanks )
Yeah, just about anybody looks big on that mower. We do the perennial rye seed instead of a rye fescue blend because it's a Bermuda lawn. This process is very popular here in California. Well Fresno, Ca. that we know of. We are also overseeding a lot of our fescue clients with tall fescue blend at the moment.

Be sure to post some pics after the rye comes in. I'm interested in seeing how it turns out. I overseeded mine last week and it's starting to pop up.
