offering fert. programs

    i am thinking of offering this service on top of the irrigation i already do. What is a good way to start to learn about it. Books, seminars, etc. I am in NJ. Thanks

    Just offer a bunch of free services to your current customers. if they have irrigation the lawn willprobably look green anyway.

    All of the above. Lawnsite is a great place as well. You just have to consider where you are located in relation to the poster's location. A great place to start is to contact whoever is in charge of licensing pesticide applicators in you state. They can tell you what you need as far as licenses, and should be able to help you out with training materials.

    You could also offer fertigation systems with your irrigation systems. There are a couple nice inexpensive ones out there that are very simple to use.
