Ohio pesticide law a joke.

    my old boss has been doing it for 10 years he still thinks mulching creates thatch:) He puts down chemical heavy

    So all in all, it costed him $226.60. That wouldn't happen here in Michigan.

    NY fines would be much heavier. IF they would look for the unlicensed guys.Instead they go after the licensed applicators and fine them for missing some wording in a contract. BTW the fine for the wording was 4x (with 1/2 suspended) more than what your guy got for not having a license at all.

    In NH the fine would have been $25000 on the first offense for such a greivous breach of the code. Companies up here have receive fines of $250,000 for applying to close to a lake.

    I tried to turn in a non license applicator. Was told there would be no investigation until a spill or accident happens. Way to go Ohio!!!! I have been thinking it would have been much cheaper to cheat like these guys.
