OHV valve...

    I have a 2004 exmark turf tracer hp and if you're on the sulky, it's the ohv valve on the front right on the outside of the motor, gets all this grimy stuff on it, it's like a mixture of oil and dust, what is causing this and how do I fix it... thanks alot guys.

    I agree with Sky King, Sounds like the valve cover gasket is leaking. You can try snugging it up a little, If that doesn't do it replace it.
