I have a slow oil leak on my engine. It is a 13 hp Honda GXV 390 on a Bobcat 48" walkbehind. I don't really know much about engines myself but I am pretty handy and leanr quick so I'm going to try to fix it myself. I took in to a mower shop a month ago and they replaced the oil seal. No change in the leak at all. Any ideas on what it could be? It seems to be coming from the bottom of the engine (or somewhere close to the bottom). Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated. I've been searching the web with little meaningful results.

Clean everything really well and then when using it check very often to see where the leak is. Good Luck

Go out and buy some Powdered Spray Anti-Perspirant/Deodorant. Clean the area WELL (Brakleen?) Run and spray the deodorant. You will instantly see any oil leak.
