Back when Lesco sold their trimmers and edgers, who were they made by? Trying to get parts for my edger. What ever happened to them that they sell Kawi now?

the trimmers and bp blowers were made by Echo first. #2100 and 2400

trimmer. the bp-4200. After that Maruyama? I have a 4400 bp. Stopped using

it when I bought a Stihl 420. Ed

So what is the deal with Lesco and Scag. Its the same mower just painted different? If lesco does not have the part I aways go to the scag dealer for it and just pay a little more.

    I agree with you. I have a 97 Lesco wb and a 99 Scag Sthm 61".

The decks look the same except for the size. I bought a Toro classic because the Scag and Lesco are fixed decks and have similiar cuts. Ed

MTD makes Lesco mowers and Cub Cadet and have been for long time. If your looking for a part you cant find contact them. MTD made an edger under their own brand name years ago and Lesco edger is the same thing.

Oh by the way for all you brand loyalist, MTD make alot of other brands besides Lesco and Cub Cadet if you look around and not all that hard you will notice the similarities. At least Toro is made by Toro Corp and thats all I use. If your wandering what else MTD makes look at Wal Mart among others.

Yep. Also White, Yardman, Yard Machines, Troy-Bilt, Garden Way, Bolens, and McCulloch. As far as the Scag thing, that is purely coincidence that they look similar. Lesco never used Scag equipment.
