i meant to say 7ft cutter, not 8ft. i didnt read my own post. this mahindra is perfect for my contracts with the homebuilders and few real estate developers. plus its great manueverability etc... will be awesome for storm clean ups.

its funny you made that comment. working on a bid for Dec for a very large, multi year contract for the LADOTD. #s in the bid will be for purchase of a two larger 85hp+ tractors w/ cabs and two 15ft batwings.:dizzy:

That's cool about working up a bid for the DOT. I had looked into maintaining the road stops and offices for the DOT but it would be a ton of driving because our districts are large. Plus we would have to start another crew. It was an extremely large contract though.
It's crazy the stuff you have to have to mow roadsides. The crews that work around here usually have 4-5 big tractors with batwings and at least one set of guys riding around trimming around signs and drainage areas. 100s of $1,000s in equip.

If your planning on doing storm clean ups, look into a clam shell bucket for that beast.

Good luck on the state bid, How did you get the opportunity to bid on that and were you able to see the last winning bid ?

Whats the loader capacity on your tractor?
was wondering if it would be a good tree trimming tractor for that price.

Cool pics. I'm jealous of the cab, because of all the low lines and trees at the power plant I cut the rops can't even be up.
