Ive been keeping a close eye on the flooding. with all this snow up north, the mississippi will start to rise pretty soon. im finalizing my purchase of the sandbag attachment this week. i had to put things on hold due to my wife having pregnancy complications a few weeks back. Im getting the ball back rolling, ive already had a few agencies contact me with interest of my services prior to/during an emergency.

Good Deal. i picked another small bushogging/mowing contract for another rail road site yesterday. waiting to hear back on this clearing job and still have two drainage jobs to price. Plus im got my fire lit again on pushing the sandbagging? flood barrier company.

Making a nice packet, maybe even a trifold brochure to send to pipeline, mucipal, govt, utility companies. anybody who might use sandbags or need flood protection of job sites, utility substations etc.

Ive decided to start going after industrial contracts.
Inorder to make contacts for the Sandbagging company ive looked up the emails, fax #s and mailing addy for every local govt, council member, parish president, pipeline/utility company, anyone i think might have a use for my sandbag services or would purchase pre-palletized sandbags.

I'm working on the same thing. I'm trying to get contracts signed before I buy the attachment.

It would be pretty sweet if that trailer place would move out of the building your in. Then you get the whole thing.

I think all together the whole building is approx 3500sqft. That includes the two offices.

No work scheduled for today. Just got back from the gym. Wife has a Doctors appointment at 10:30, then prolly spend the rest of the day studying for the Utility Arborist exam im taking 2morrow at 8am. Have to bring my tractor in on wed for a warranty repair on a leaking seal on the rear driverside axle shaft. Got a few small jobs to take care of before my bushhogging contracts start May 1st.
