Operating Systems

    We have been in business for about 7 years and my wife and I are trying to phase ourselves out of different aspects of the day to day operations of the business. We currently have about 6 full time and 7 part time employees. We will probably have 2-3 people doing all of the different jobs that I currently do. We are trying to put together operating systems that will not be people dependent, which means, that I do not have to be there every hour of every day and we still get the same results everytime.

    I need a little help with a few items.
    1. Methods of communications between Sales, Design, Formen, etc.
    2. Effeciency and how to mesure.
    3. Considering having one person run erands, get materials for the next day, small service work, etc.
    Any imput would be very helpful.

  2. Paper work, every detail gets written down. Cell phones. Meetings. They should all meet for a short time at the begining of the day to swap info.

    Formulas, you have to do this on your own.

    And number 3 aint a bad idea.
