Precision is right, there are a bunch of threads about this mower. I have one, here is the short of the long.

Gets through 36" gates that 36" mowers wont
    Mulches well
    Has plenty of power

    Doesnt like slopes
    Scalp rollers would be nice

I just got a new left over 05' model for $3675 plus tax. this is my first Z so i am amazed at the power and speed. havent cut yet but I can tell its gonna kick butt! Dont really see what the whole hill issue is, i have a pretty steep hill ive been practicing on and dont see any problems.

I think I have narrowed it done and want one. My problem is that I live in Upstate NY, (all the way upstate) and am having touble locating a dealer. There area few in VT. which really isn't that far. i'm just nervous about getting one the dealing with servicing it.

3,900.00 bucks what a deal for a commercail grade ZTR.

had one for two years. good machine. great for close trimming and gated yards. the hill issue.......just not a wide machine, small tires, but if you know the capabilities, no problem. I noticed the retail price has gone up about 1k.
