I like the Kawasakis better than anything I've ever owned, and I've had a bunch over the years.

Wouldn't even think of buying anything else.

I have a KTR27A. I ABSOLUTELY HATE the head on it, and of course NO OTHER HEAD fits it :(. I thing with the KGT you can get other heads for it.

Okay, whats wrong with the kaw heads, hard to string....wont feed line properly....????. If I get a kaw KGT27A trimmer, should I be thinking about getting a different head. I read on some other post that people were using the geared shindawa heads???

Kawasaki uses the same head as Echo...the only difference is the threads where it screws onto the shaft.

It's a simple head, easy to load; I've never had any trouble with it.

The KTR27A is not commercial rated, the KGT27A is; they both use the same head.
