Ours works very good. We got it from russo power on ebay for $300. Ours has the adjustable wheel where you can move it up and down to change the angle.

Im pulling the trigger here very shortly on the $300 oregon model they sell on ebay. I've been paying $21 a few times a week here for the past month and its getting old, time and money wise.

Does it have a preset angle to grind with? Is the angle adjustable?

There are 2 models. One with a fixed wheel that cant be moved and one with the handle on top you can turn the cutting wheel up and down. Thats the one we have.

The one with the wheel is. You vary the angle by how far up or down the wheel is in relation to the table.

I have the 300 dollar one. If I had it to do over again I would go for the 12" model. The smaller ones can't sharpen long blades all the way.
