Our first attempt at flower bed cleanup

    Looks awesome.

    Here is a trick I learned about cleanups:

    I price the job a little high because so much work is involved and when we do it in half the time I have a few bucks left over on top of my hefty profit.

    I usually then add some annuals with color to the area in front of the shrubs for free without telling them, and I make a customer for life. You can pick up a flat of annuals for very cheap even at home depot if you have to. I usually use something fool proof that can tolerate drought and waterlogged soil. A good example might be daylillys because they are bombproof and yellow draws your eye.

    People still love surprises and gifts deep down.
