Our new tipper

    Heres a photo of our new (1988) tipper bought yesterday.AUS$13000K less $3000K tradein.Very happy to get 3K for my old vehicle because its done its share of hard work.74000 kilometres air pwr steering etc. Having its colour changed from blue to green just really a shot of colour over the blue.Going to put high sides on it and signwright it.

    Nice truck, but why change the color? IT's got nice paint on it.

    Yeh its actually new paint on it when they shipped it from Japan but as my trailer is green i need to match it all up.Went to see it today and they had rubbed the cabin back.Damn fast workers.

    Neat little truck there stuie. I like the green better too.
    Any plans for the rims? I'd either paint them to match, or paint them white, or see about maybe getting chrome covers for them.

    I think that would really make the truck look newer and cleaner.

    Good luck, and get some pics once you put the sides on.

    Neat rig, stuie.. I saw lot's of those in the Middle east.. they must be pretty popular. Is it Turbocharged?? None of the one's over there were...

    No its not turbocharged.4 cylinder diesel.First day working with her today plenty of power for a 4.Not as fast as our last ute but looks like it will be a useful asset.
