Anyone thinking about taking Chuck Links Outdoor lighting Lab class? Im highly considering this.
I got the email today...
Bet I didn't act fast enough and those 50 slots are already filled.
The infomercialish hype kinda turned me off, truthfully.
Ha! Yeh the more i think about it, it doesnt sound all that great. Glad its full.
If you know Chuck well personally you would understand it. He gets really hyper in his seminars. I have been to 4 and participated in 3 of thoes with him. I have done installs in the pouring rain with Chuck and hung out with him quite a bit when I was first starting out.
I know his marketing techniques and they do work for alot of guys who do 7 figures a year in business but they are just not my style. I love being the 1 man show. It fits me.
He really can put you to the next level if you listen to him AND you have a good market in your area. It is alot of work and you will need to lay out some capital for the ground work and marketing but if done right it can pay dividends. For thoes of you in a major metro area looking to grow huge and work on Sales and estimates vs doing the installations yourself it would probably suit you well.
I didn't mean to put down Chuck's message, just not the right style or approach I would be comfortable with in my market. Probably good for someone maybe a little younger with a lot of energy and vision. Never met Chuck, but I have heard from a handful of people that have who say he's a good guy.
Am I the only tightwad who thinks $6,000 for this is pretty pricey? If you do the math, even with the hotel bills, meals, and beverages, considering he's probably getting most if not all of the literature and materials donated, he's making a pretty decent penny off this. But if he got 50 guys to pony up, more power to him.
Yeh its definitely quite costly..Im going a different route!
