Obviously, you have outstanding abilities, as your work shows that. However, I think you should look at stepping up your presentation. Make sure your equipment is clean, paint issues addressed in some manner, you and your help wearing matching company clothing, etc. With the type of clients you've shown, your presentation will go a long way toward getting more of them.

Thanks for the response guys. I was starting to think I was a hack or something and you guys just didn't wanna tell me ;)

The flip flops. He is a part time employee, who had just taken his fert boots off, and was just getting to work with us when I had him pose for a pic, then he put his boots on.

The presentation. As much as you guys think it is important........it really isn't. The presentation is all in your work. When I started, I was "that guy" I had a 18' trailer, one mower, one whip, a handheld blower. I landed a full service right out of the gate, and proved myself with the quality of my work. At one point I was that guy pulling the trailer with my family Blazer, because my truck was dead. We have work shirts, and most of the guys who work with me have at least one.....but I file through guys quick because I tolerate no bs.....so my work shirt inventory dwindled fast. All mowing days, we match shirts ;)

    Attn Mods,

Can I get this thread moved to the pic section, as I now see that forum, and feel that's where this thread should have been placed.

What year and mileage is the GMC? Do you do plowing in the winter, if not what do you do during the snow season.

I like all the Exmark WB!!!!

The truck is a 98. I have the maintenance records, and window sticker from the original owner.

I just purchased it, with 238k miles, and have a plow to hang on it. It drives like the day it filled off the line, I paid cash for it, and its already paid for itself ;)

I love Exmark, just like I do my 96-00 GM 8600gvw trucks ;)

That's awesome! I'd love to compare window stickers to it 2013 replacement. It seems like more and more people are running their late 1990s 2000s trucks well up over 200k no problem. I know a guy runs a good clean business and he told me he won't buy a truck with less than 150k, but he unlike me can fix and repair almost anything himself.

I buy everything with cash, my dad is in no position to help the business, and the only debt I have is my home.

That is the kind of company I run......for any of the newbies reading ;)
