Working on a fabrication project and need to determine the thread size of the output shaft. It's a 15hp Kawi.

I tried all my miscellaneous hardware, but couldn't find the right size.

    Also, is it reverse threaded?

(EDIT: these are, of course, the internal threads on the output shaft...)

If the engine originally had an electric clutch, it's most likely 7/16x20(fine thread) and a right hand thread. If I'm wrong, the big boys will call me on it. I've been away from the larger engines for a couple of years but that is the info that I recall.

    Dutch.....sounds good to me...7/16 x 20 is probably right.
Glad to see you woke up .....the smell of biskits and gravee off that B&S fuel pump was almost too much.....put on the feedbag since...good for now....

Thanks, and good call. I found a diagram, and you're correct.
