I'm looking at a new mower for my yard. I have about 3 acres to mow, and I have a slight, gradual grade on one side. On the other side of my house I have a little steeper incline that then turns back into flat ground, nothing my dead Deere L120 couldn't handle (before the transmission went out, anyway).
I'm looking at getting a Kubota ZG23. Kohler engine with 23hp, a 54" cutting deck, and a nice feature on the front that makes it easier to get to the deck.
I want to make sure I'm not ending up buying something that is far and beyond what I actually need. I'm mainly going to be mowing with it, not much more. Mainly looking to cut my mowing time down from 4 hours to anything less.

I'm watching "Home Improvement" right now. Nothing is overkill!

Not sure about Kubota's, but w/ my Ferris 61" I could probably do the mowing in around 2 hours.
