overkill?

    i saw a lawn company today at a property with a huge trailer loaded to the gill with equipment towed by a truck like this? now whats the purpose of haveing this truck for work?

    Perfect! Can handle more clippings and fewer trips to the dump!

    I laugh at some set ups I see, but that must have had you rolling on the ground!

    There were tons of these trucks at Daytona bike week. They use a standard dually box so they won't hold anymore volume than a 1 ton anyway. They make a nice toy hauler but I don't see what good they would be for daily work.

    I worked with a guy who owns one of those beasts and basically towed his race car with it.

    Flash ahead 2 years later, He still owns it but not by choice. i.e. nobody wants to buy it! Those things don't come cheap, lots of bling, but you know where bling gets you- in the poor house!

    They're kind of like boats- the 2 happiest days of ownership is the day you bought it AND the day you sell it:clapping:

    That would suck to manuver around small residential streets. I bet she gets great mileage too!:rolleyes:

    I want a 4500 Chevy like that with a 5th wheel and say goodbye to my '02 2500HD.........I love my 2500 but that 4500 setup would be sweeeeeeeeeet.
