Due to the drought last year, I have one client who will need his lawn seeded this spring. We have also agreed that it will be done again in the fall. Since it will be seeded this month I did not apply a pre-emergent and his lawn is full of henbit. I read the label on my Trimes Plus and it says to wait until the 3rd mowing to use. Could I use it 2-3 days prior to seeding? It does not say anything on the label about that (or I missed it). Thanks for the help.

This is my first attempt in 5 years to seed in the spring. I always do it in the fall but his yard has alot of bare spots and needs some help.

I am in the same boat here, I have only overseeded in the Fall.
Now with drought conditions from last season customers are asking...kinda of worried exactly how to do it and get the best growth, plus no pre-E to put down I wonder if I`ll will be chasing crab grass around with the hand sprayer for the next two months.

  4. Herbicides need 3-6 wks before seeding. READ the label!!
Generally after 2 or 3 mowing can apply post herbicide, again READ the LABEL

Use tupersan for grass weeds when seeding, good for @ 4weeks. READ THE LABEL
