I have a wooded lot that slopes to the lake and has been terraced. Still in many areas there is the typical 'divets' that you see in forest lands. By that I mean the barespots in the grass. The client is not interestted in bringing in topsoil to level so I would like to layer down compost just enough for covering an overseeding this fall.
This is too large and area to do effectively by hand. Does anyone have a quicker method of spreading compost or similar material?
    Any ideas would be appreciated.
    thanks, .rick.
