hey guys, I have decided to buy a quick but I would like to know if any of you have any problems getting a 36 through standard chain linked fence gates? I have't measured one yet but my friend said his gate is 36" with his post approx. 40" apart. I would rather have a 36 but might have to settle for a 32 Quick. Any information would help in my decision. Thanks Brent @ YARD CUTS in Hueytown, AL.

What is the overall width of the quick 36 BTW? Comes in just under 40", correct? With the chute up.

I need to get a new 36 walk behind, I'm attracted to the Quick 36 but will spend more for a "classic" hydro. I had a toro 36 W/B Hydro, got old and it starting hurting my hands after a few hours... I value your input

I believe so....check the website or call them ...I run them without the chute and the mulch kit installed

Yes, take a tape measure out to your yards with gates and find out what size unit you will need.

I thought they were about 39.5 with the chute up, but as Buckeye states best to call them up. We mulch everything as well, and get through standard gates with our 36's all day long. If we come across and undersized gate, I have when solo been able to tip it up on one back wheel and get it through myself (not really recommended with one guy!), but with a helper we get through any gate just by him lifting the front and me putting it on the back wheel no problem, every time.

Another great feature do to the light weight of this machine. :weightlifter:
