owning a lawn service

    do any of you just own your business and not actually work with it but just have a regular job? do any of you manage from a different city even?

    That's kind of like being a babysitter in One town for a child in another while working your 8 to 5. You will get a lot accomplished running a business this way. You can have a small business that YOU operate on weekends while doing an 8-5 during the week for extra income I suppose. Many have started this way and then drop the 8-5 and go full time. Cannot envision a business being successful as a remote operation. The owner is the heart of the business. A remote heart is death IMO.

    ya i think the owner needs to be seen for people to beable to connect to the company. but i guess if ur sales rep is the only person you have to deal with u deal.

    The customer alway see's me im out their every day hitting a lick harder then any of my guys!
