How do I apply for a BU # in PA?
You must take the courses and pass the test. Your timing is bad because I think the opportunities for doing the courses and taking the test was done in the off-season. After you get the license, you must continue to take ongoing courses for credits to maintain the license.
I see you are in SW PA. A large group of courses was just offered last week at the Western PA Turf Council event in Pittsburgh. Most of the sessions of the Conference were intended to provide the necessary credits for keeping a license current. Contact the Dept of Agriculture. Here is a brochure:
