parker ross vs dan foss

    what is the difference in these wheel motors,mine has the foss,do they have the same life and are they as good????

    S & S,

    The Dan Foss wheel motor is used in the Lazer AS. The big difference is the Dan Foss has a little less speed and may not produce quite as much torque.

    Life expectancy should be fairly even when used properly.

    One of our engineers pointed out an error in my post. The Dan Foss wheel motor is slightly slower............that part was correct but it actually has slightly more torque........probably not enough to notice in the real world. He also mentioned that outside of the speed difference you probably would not notice any difference in handling if all other factors are equal.
