I have a 3 year old Lawn Solutions WB aerator with a broken transmission cable. My toro rep just ordered me the wrong cable (new Toro model has a cable 5-6 inches shorter). He doesn't know if he can get the Lawn Solutions part. Any suggestions on getting parts - anyone else come across this situation? Any help would be appreciated. I've called and emailed the Lawn Solution contacts off their website - no response back yet.

David - are you still lurking around herer - any help?!?!?!?

My dual hydro that I bought one year and one month ago (only 18 hours on it) has broken the shaft with the times on it twice. First time was three weeks ago. Weld that holds the sprocket on the left side broke. Dealer said it was out of warrantee. I had it welded for a hundred dollars. It broke again 11 days ago on the right side this time. It broke and bent pretty bad. Welder said not sure it's repairable. Called dealer and they got ahold of them for me and ordered it but they can't get them to call back to tell them if it shipped. But hey, what should I expect for 5 grand? Just get it repaired every 10 hours or so. The old billy goat is working me to death but starts and runs every day

Subscribed I own a LS 21 WB aerator on cable #3 now.

There is a damper relocation modification that saves wear and tear on the cable. Fwiw

You can still call the factory in Louisville. I entered lawn solutions on Google and got the number. I just ordered some parts last week.

The guys at LS are in a warehouse about 4 minutes from my shop. I'm lucky! They moved over from their original place across town.

Been there a few times in the past two months for parts (and an engine upgrade) for my seeder. They tell me they're only there for another month or so before Toro takes over the parts thing... It's a massive place FULL of part bins and parts. When I went by, they were filling orders like crazy and shipping stuff out. Should be able to call during the workday and place an order.

Did you ever get your forward reverse cable? I've blown through a fair amount of cables.

This makes me nervous....I'm concerned about Toro taking over and getting a massive runaround on before Toro parts.....?

I have a lot of hours on my LS walk behind with zero cable issues this far, just lucky I guess.

At my Exmark dealer yesterday, saw them working on a LS era ride-on aerator. Had a broken axle. Must be getting the parts from somewhere. I didn't ask. I will the next time I am in.
