PAS-230 or PAS-260, is there that much of a difference?...

I'm doing some research, but I don't see that much of a difference except maybe money. So what do you guys think?

I don't think there is on the outside, but there is a 2.6 cc displacement differance. That may not seem like a lot, but remember, these are small displacement high rpm engines. I've used both before buying my 260 s and can only say there is a differant feel to the 260 at full throttle. For the $30.00 go with the bigger 260. It's not much over the life of the unit.

I just came back from my local Echo dealer. I was give a quote of 514 which includes a 260 AND a power paddle. He took 35 bucks off his retail price. Sound OKAY?

I got a pas 260 with hedge trimmer atachment for 475. Im not sure how much the paddle attachment is normally so I cant really compare. I like the 260 though, I have chainsaw, hedge trimmer, and edger attachmnet. Plenty of power, a little on the heavy side but its worth it.
