Customer of mine called me up today and would like me to install a brick paver patio over her existing concrete patio. The size is 27x12. The original concrete patio isn't completly even so i figured i would need around a yard of ms2 sand to level off the area and then around 6 bags of polimeric sand to fill in the joints when i'm done. She wants to use railroad ties as the edges of the patio which i don't see any problem with. The pavers are 12x12 red brick. This is my first patio install and was just wondering if all those numbers for materials sound correct and I'm estimations around 10-12 hours of labor. Tell me if i'm wrong PLEASE. Like i said this is my first patio and it doesn't appear to be too complicated. I priced out the materials out to be around $200, she has already bought the pavers. What would you guys charge for a small install like this?
