Any of you guys know where to get some good catch trays for calibrating fert/etc. I need trays that are 24 x 24 with a 2-3 inch lip.

You might try walmart in the cooking section.

I bought one from Perma Green last year. You may call them as they send you everything you need to calibrate. It is a real nice kit.

Use paper plates. 10 in a row. Count the granules. Average several runs.

Lesco gives them to you with a big purchase; or just twist their arm and they'll give you one. If you were closer, I'd give you mine.

If you mean calibration--you need to weigh the product--apply --weigh again. Adjust and repeat. Use a 10 pound capacity cooking scale.

If you mean checking for an even pattern, catch trays are good, but visual observation is just as good--if not better.
