I have to do a small paver apron for my mother in law at her house in Seaside Park. To those who work in sand (I have never) are there any special considerations for base? It hasn't happened in years but there have been times when the road and end of the driveway were underwater from coastal flooding, is this a concern ? If so what precautions should be taken? The dimensions are about 8 x 10 and I will need base material, anyone from that area know where I can buy local so as not to have a full load running 2+ hours.

Where abouts? My mothers pavers are constantly underwater and thes salt has taken some finish off the bricks but no other problems.

The house is in Seaside Park. Do you know of any stone yards/gravel pits out on #37 anywhere or maybe in Toms River?
