I recently read an article where a large LCO payed their crew members by the job and paid the crew leader partially by the job, and partially by quality. The crew members would hustle to get their work done, because they would get paid the same whether it took them 6 hours or 9 hours in day. The crew leader only received a portion of his pay based on productivity, the other portion of his pay was based on quality of the job done. The company's productify increased significantly. I am contemplating doing this when/if I go big. Is anyone out there using a similar strategy?
