OK--Go ahead and laugh and get it out. My backyard neighbor (Not one of my lawns either) has a large pecan tree that drops it nuts before they ripen. I said go ahe ad and laugh. I know a little about apple trees but nothing about pecan trees. Do anyone know why this happens and what is a cure for these trees to prematurely drop their fruit before it ripens and naturally opens. I read in one of my books that when their fruit ripens the hull turns brown and opens and the ripe nuts fall to the ground like hickory nuts.
In the army, I knew this guy who took a piece of steel through his legs and well.....
    Thanks,
    Roy
