Hello, Does anybody know off hand the sq. ft coverage per bag of Penn Mulch and avg. price per bag. Need to cover 98000 sq ft.. Also, has anybody used the similiar Lesco product? Lesco product is around 20 per bag w/o fert, 28 per bag w fert

Turf I think a 50LB. bag covers around 700sf and yes a bag is about $13.50 back in the summer for me from Shemins also.

That was the first time that I used it and I really liked it but for 98000 sf that will be a hell of a lot of spreading and some money also.

  4. Apply at 50 to 100lbs/m

Generally applied at 75lbs/m, with the higher rate for slopes.

I applied 90 bags, to 60m job in 3 hrs by myself with a walk behind spreader

Just curious as to why it has to be spreadable pellets. You could have a reputable hydroseeding company do 98K of turf for a little more than what you would pay just for the mulch at $ 20.00-28.00 per bag.
