anyone fert perennials and shrubs with a granular. for years ive been generally using espoma products or milorganite spread by hand around the base of the plant once in the spring.

i suppose my question is what are the prices for your area. also what do you use for a fall app, im assuming anything with a lower nitro level would do good right?

Normally we use a Chemlance (liquid), but sometimes we use a belly spreader (granular) for ground cover, shrub beds, steep slopes, etc.
