    PE...

Does the billy goat have a center ring on the impeller that chops the leaves better? Say something like Little Wonder has in their talon ring?

I picked up a used Lesco 16hp model. Love what the thing does, but the impeller doesn't chop the leaves as fine as I want.

Possibly looking at a billy goat or little wonder impeller for it next year, but was just curious if the Billy Goat chops the leaves really good.

It basically would all boil down to which impeller had the dimensions to fit in my Lesco.

This new vac has the "piranha" blade in the center of the impeller. It's probably 6" or so in diameter? Has the little serrated teeth... Also, the main 4-blade impeller has jagged ends.

The older model Billy Goat vac I was using in years past had NO piranha blade and flat impellers. There is a massive difference in the two!!!!

This new vac really reduces the leaves. I'd say each leaf gets shredded, whereas with no serrated blades on the old vac, you could see tons of untouched leaves in the box. I would definitely look into one that would fit yours. I'm noticing a huge difference in what we're able to pick up.

Theres a local landscape company that used to have their crews just dump all their tarps full of leaves into a 40yd dumpster, now they just make a huge pile next to the dumpster and suck up all the leaves through the billygoat and back into the dumpster. They are able to fit 30% more leaves into the dumpster. Thought that was kinda cool.

Interesting technique..... sounds like they'd be better off taking that Billy Goat vac to the actual jobs! Crews could curbside the leaves, running to multiple properties, and the vac could just keep rolling.
