Someone is wondering about replacing the engine on teir PG Ultra, and has purchased the wrong motor. I was thinking this was discussed before, and something about the engine needing to be ordered directly from PG. Does anyone know anything about this? Please read and answer on this thread link. Thanks.

I replaced the engine on our old Centri (do not own anymore) It was purchased directly from Perma green, which is what I would recommend.

I agree with the statement about the B/S being discontinued. If I remember you need to get an upgrade kit to convert to a Honda.

Sorry Runner. PG called to remind me. The proper engine for the PG Ultra is no longer being made and all stock is sold out. Remember you need a jackshaft to operate the spinner. They sell a kit to replace it with a Honda, which has belts to drive a pump and the spinner. Cost is around $1400. So, if (like me) you like your Ultra and the electric pump--then try to get the old engine rebuilt.
