For future reference, isn't the solenoid ALWAYS on the down-stream side of the valve?

    Thanks / Regards,

  3. Never used one of those. I'll go see if they can be confusing to use.

Seems to work very similar to the PGA. Hmmmmmm

This is a replacement of 10 year old valves.
Two of the valves had a bad leak so I replaces all of them per the costumer.
I am not trying to alter the flow but the original installer plumed the valves so that it alternated the flow direction. The first valve had the flow direction arrow on the valve pointed towards the house the next valve flow arrow pointed towards the street and so on for the next three valve. I thing I places the last valve in backwards its all me. I am asking this question because I have never had this happen before.

The valve is a Hunter 1" slip PGV

I would like to know why anyone would alter the direction or valves?

would you have a link to a picture of the Hunter valve?

    thanks for the help

it would not have run correctly for 10 yrs if installed backwards.

I think we need to see a photo to know what you are dealing with - it is possible that one valve "flowing into" a manifold is a master valve.

The 1" Toro P-220 valves I installed a few years back were on the upstream side.
