I payed my eXmark dealer a visit the other day to see about purchasing a new Phazer 44". He told me that I had better purchase one now because the Phazer wasnt in the lineup for the 2007 season... or something along those lines. Has anyone else heard anything like this? I am really in need of the Phazer and it would be a shame if I couldnt purchase one at the beginning of next season. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Ride your way through gated properties with the new, perfectly sized Phazer. It combines the agility of a walk-behind with the efficiency of a riding mower. This commercial zero-turn rider maneuvers effortlessly through gate openings, between flower beds, around trees and any other narrow spaces you may encounter.

    NEW FOR 2007:

    Standard Armrests

I doubt they would be featuring standard arm rests as new for 2007 if they were not going to produce them. Perhaps your dealer is going to stop carrying eXmark, or is not going to stock the Phazer next year. Quite frankly, the Phazer HAS had it's share of Metro 26 esque problems (I know for a pretty positive fact that eXmark allowed the same engineer to design both machines... so.. go figure)

    My 2006 came w/armrests - go figure.

Exactly what M26-esque problems has the Phazer had? - please be specific as possible - I was aware of a fix for the 'jumping' deck drive belt earlier this Spring - that issue has since been resolved.

Let's see.. the latest SB involves untorqued clutch bolts

there was one on the brake switch and linkage

and yes, the one you mentioned for the belt jumping

there is a minor one on the 34" with not being able to use all of the plastic wingnuts that hold the pulley covers in place because they hit on a bracket and do not allow the deck to be pulled all the way up. There is no SB for that since I'm sure it's still being overlooked.

What are the dates on those S-bulletins - brake switch/linkage and the untorqued clutch bolts - that would be helpful.
