Pic of my ute

    This is my work ute.It's also my daily driver. 1990 Mitsubishi
    Triton 4wd. 2.5 diesel,5spd. GVM 2720kg or 6100lb. Quite a
    handy little vehicle.

    Karl - I'm guessing that's a fairly common vehicle "down under"? Kind of the Australian version of our good 'ol North American 1/2-ton pickup?

    Thanks for posting the pics - it's interesting seeing things from a different perspective.

    Gotta love some of your terms too: "chasing smash" is my favourite............. :D

    A lot of our work/utility vehicles are 4cyl or v6 models. A lot of the
    4cyl models still put out reasoanble power. 140-150 hp not out of the question.

    landscaper3, I'm not sure what a Dodge D50 is,so I'll have to take your word for it.

    I would imagine that our 2 countries share quite a few vehicles
    just under different names.
