I've used wooden ramps for the last 2 years without incident. But I ALWAYS pay attention to what I'm doing when I load/unload. If you get slack you could have an accident.

Also, try not to park on a hill if at all possible.

Being a belt drive mower the reverse is really just a helping reverse and i don't think it could get the mower up a ramp backwards. How would it work to use 2x10's and fasten metal mesh to them? I am up for any other creative ideas if you guys have them. Thanks

If you can possibly get a trailer, go down to Davis Trailer World in York. Tell them Steve @ Quality Lawn & Landscape sent you. They will hook you up with a good quality trailer at a decent price.

I've gotten all but one of my trailers from Davis. I got the 6.6'x16' from Dailey, and it sux. The coupler is stuck, the right brake light has blown twice already, the deck boards are warping, the frame sides are really weak and it's only a month old.

Never had a problem with Davis and they are good guys.

I would like to have a trailer but i don't have the money nor the place to store it do to deed restrictions in the my subdevison which states you can't have a trailer in a driveway or lawn. I am not looking to load the mower in every day I will only be using it for a couple of yards as my other ones are all within .75 of a mile from my house. I have a question about the board ends at http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/...1&catalogId=4006970&PHOTOS=on&productId=13471 how do they attach to the tail gate?

Whats the stuff that is like sand paper and sicks on to stuff that is used where anti slip is needed. any one know where you can buy that to put on wood if i used it

Any you guys close to albany?

Do go and purchase or fabricate a ramp lilke OUTSIDE PRIDE has, to you sir, BRAVO. Very nice.

For you Steve, I say this, one acident could ruin you or the mower or both in a split second.

Ramps are for emergencies, not everyday practices.

i got it here in canada for 450 CND about 350 US but im sure if you did a search you could find one in your area. All it does is fold up but it streaches out to 7 Ft when un folded and will hold 1500 pounds I saw earlier someone posted a link to site that had the same type of ramp, on this thread

About 2 1/2 hours from albany, or if you drive the speed limit closer to 3 hours ;)
