The Z is new this week. Mt first Z and it's great.
It's a 2004 Scag, which comes standard with the big canister air filter this year. It also has mounting points for ROPS now, if anyone needed to run one.

Got the trailer at Big Tex trailers on East Loop 820. Big Tex trailers ain't cheap, I paid 1468 for it. It's built much better than some other cheaper trailer though. It comes with trimmer racks already on it, and they're pretty nice ones.

Tx Firefighter -- Just wondering -- I'm new around here, but I think I recall you asking about both the Scag and the eXmark in another posting. Without starting a major debate, just wondering what led you to get the Scag instead of the eXmark. Thanks.

Richmond, yes, I was debating whether to Exmark or Scag. There are three local Exmark dealers. I emailed every one of them three times each, with not one single reply from any. I just wanted a price quote on a 48" ZTR without having to take a day off and go window shopping.

The Scag dealer was great, and this makes my second Scag. Plus, I like some features of Scag over Exmark, namely greasable spindles and canister air filter. Mainly, it's the dealer. I have to feel good about giving 6 grand to someone.

LandscapeEscape- yes, they are on the outside. I lock them throughout the day, and the trailer is parked indoors at night.
