Pics of the NEW tires on the deere. Prepping for winter mode

    Stock 8 yr old tires did NOT cut the mustard last year. So this year, we aint playing that game! A-HA!

    First, picked up these beauts on ebay for $70 shipped.

    Then, picked up two VERY worn atv tires. Got some old 8" rims. cut the old tire off and put the new on. Had to use tubs so I went and got two tubes for $10. After tire and tube were in, I wrapped the tire tight with the chains. Put the air to them, and done. Nice knobbies and chains for the ice!

    Those front tires look pretty gnarly, you should put some on the back too!

    I want to run the tractor style in the back. But at $90 a tire, I think im going to wait! lol

    Lat year my biggest problem was not being able to turn when a full load on the plow. This year, no problem. :D
